Yummy Artichoke Dip
Artichoke Dip
Delicious Creamy Dip
This is a recipe for a simple no cook artichoke dip. The artichoke has been eaten for the past 3000 years. It was eaten during the time of the Roman Empire. Artichokes were obscure from the collapse of the Roman Empire until the mid 15th century when it again became popular in Italy. Artichokes are native to the Meditarranean region and are eaten as a vegetable, although they are actually members of the sunflower family. They are nutritious -- full of folate, Vitamin C, and fiber and they are low in calories. This dip is delicious. It is great on chips, crackers, or vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, or bell peppers. I just love dips of all kinds. They combine a wide array of flavors into a small bite and they pack a big punch. This dip is also very delicious on melba toast rounds,
