Sweet and Sour Meatballs
This recipe is for sweet, sour, and tangy meatballs. These meatballs can be served as party appetizers or as a meal served over fried rice, white rice, or asian noodles. This tasty dish includes pineapple chunks, bell pepper chunks, and onions chunks. It is a form of Americanized Chinese cuisine. It is great accompanied by egg rolls and/or egg drop soup.

Ingredients
- 1bag frozen italian meatballs
- 1 16 oz can pineapple chunks, (pour in with juice)
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, course ground
- 1 tsp garlic, jar kind
- 2 small bell pepper, chunked
- 2 medium onions, chunked
Directions
- Place the frozen meatballs in the crock pot.
- Add the other ingredients into the crock pot and mix well.
- Cook on high for 1 hour and low for 5 hours. Serve over rice or noodles with an egg roll and/or egg drop soup on the side. Delicious!
- Note: Can use one green bell pepper and one red for color. Can also add sliced carrots, mushrooms, and broccoli for a colorful presentation with more vegetables.
