Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip
Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip
My family tends to love anything that a chip can be dipped into. If you love buffalo wings, then this dip is one you can definitely sink your teeth into. This is a spicy dip made with chicken breasts, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and sharp cheddar cheese. I usually serve this dip with tortilla chips. I will not lie, we have eaten this dip as a meal in itself because it is so delicious that it is addicting.
Cook Time
Ingredients
- 2 8 oz blocks cream cheese
- 2-3 lbs chicken breasts, skinless, boneless
- 1 large bottle buffalo wing sauce
- 1 16oz bottle ranch dressing, may use blue cheese if you prefer
- 1 8oz pack sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip
- Place the chicken breasts in a crock pot. Pour the buffalo wing sauce over the chicken, reserving approximately 1/4 cup of sauce. Cook for 2 hours on high then 2-3 more on low.
- When chicken is done, drain. Shred the chicken with two forks (shreds very easily).
- Use a medium mixing bowl to blend the cream cheese, the ranch dressing (entire bottle), and the reserved buffalo sauce. If you like a little extra kick, add a few drops of hot sauce.
- Spread the shredded chicken on the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan or casserole dish. Greasing is not needed.
- Top the chicken with the cream cheese mixture and then a layer of the sharp cheddar shreds on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is bubbly (about 30 minutes). Serve with tortilla chips. Ummmmm delicious!
