Southern Sausage Gravy (for biscuits)
Sausage Gravy
Biscuits with Sausage Gravy is a delicacy in the South. This gravy is a creamy milk based gravy seasoned with crumbled, cooked sausage bits, a little seasoning salt, and course ground black pepper. It is absolutely spectacular served over fresh cooked biscuits. Homemade biscuits are the best, but I usually cheat and use frozen biscuits. This gravy is also great served over grits. I usually cover the biscuits in gravy and serve the grits on the side. Serve accompanied by scrambled eggs and fresh fruit or fruit juice. This is a filling and satisfying breakfast that will warm you up on a cool morning. Give this amazing gravy a try, you will be hooked.
