Orange Pork Chops
Orange Pork Chops
Pork Chops cooked in a Delicious Orange Sauce
I love crock pot cooking. It is easy to prepare and requires very little supervision during the cooking process. I love how I can throw some ingredients into the crock pot and stir occasionally, then a few hours later, supper is ready. Voila! This recipe uses porkchops cooked in an orange juice base. It is absolutely spectacular. I usually serve the porkchops with rice and put a little of the orange sauce on top of the rice. Green beans and broccoli also go well with the porkchops and rice.
Cook Time
Ingredients
- 1 6 oz can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 6 boneless porkchops, 1 inch thick
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients (except pork chops) in the crock pot and stir well.
- Add the chops and be sure to coat both sides.
- Cover with the lid and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low. This can also be cooked on high for about 3 hours if you have time constraints. Enjoy!
