Chocolate Cake Icing
This tasty icing is great on chocolate of vanilla cakes and cupcakes. It is very sweet and delicious. Don't get me wrong, I love some store bought creamy icing, but this is a delicious alternative to store bought icing.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 12 tbsp. milk
- 2 boxes confectioner's sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans and/or walnuts, optional
Directions
- In a heavy boiler, heat cocoa, butter, and milk until it comes to a boil. Stir frequently (almost constantly).
- Remove from heat and add vanilla, sugar, and nuts. Mix well.
- Use to frost cake or cupcakes. Makes enough to cover a three layer cake.
