Baked Vidalia Onions
Baked Vidalia Onion
Baked Vidalia Onion
Vidalia onions are grown from a variety of onion called the yellow granex hybrid. To be considered a true Vidalia Onion they must be grown within a 50 mile radius of Vidalia, Georgia, where the rainfall, climate, and soil make up are attributed to the exceptionally sweet flavor. These same seeds planted elsewhere do not result in the same tasting onions. Use actual Vidalia Onions whenever possible to bake up this awesome tasting treat to serve with a beautifully cooked grilled steak.
Cook Time

- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until onions are soft and easily cut with a fork. This is a delicious side item with steak and baked potato.
